About Information Technology and Communications

The Department of Information Technology and Communication (DoIT&C) in Rajasthan is dedicated to harnessing technology for governance, economic development, and youth empowerment. With the new IT Policy of Rajasthan as its foundation, the Department is implementing innovative solutions across government operations, promoting digital transformation, and enabling a connected, inclusive, and progressive society.

Through a visionary e-Governance framework, DoIT&C is strengthening services from Government-to-Citizen, Business-to-Citizen, and Government-to-Government, ensuring efficient, secure, and standardized digital services. Key projects under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) and initiatives like the Rajasthan Electronic Processes Rules, 2024, aim to improve efficiency and accessibility in government services under the leadership of Honourable PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji.

The Department’s objectives span across establishing robust IT infrastructure, supporting IT skill development, and fostering entrepreneurship through digital innovation. Through collaborations with academic institutions and industry, DoIT&C is building a strong ICT ecosystem that empowers youth, facilitates employment, and brings the benefits of IT and IT-enabled services (ITeS) to rural and urban communities alike.

Through strategic investments in data security, capacity building, and digital literacy, the Department envisions a Rajasthan where technology plays a transformative role in achieving social equity, economic resilience, and sustainable growth, making it an exciting destination for both IT professionals and investors.
